In 1911, Austin Family Chiropractic was founded in San Jose, CA by Drs. Jay and Mabel Austin. The practice is now run by Dr. Thomas Austin and Dr. Meghan Dowling, fourth and fifth generation Austin family chiropractors. Dr. Dowling graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2011, the 100 year anniversary of our family's practice. The college has confirmed that Austin Family Chiropractic is the oldest and longest running chiropractic practice in the world.
We are very proud of our family history and strive to uphold our exceptional reputation in our community. Patients know Dr. Austin and Dr. Dowling as being honest, patient-focused doctors who, after generations of practice, have molded the chiropractic skill into a true art form.
